What Is the Habilitation Supports Waiver?
The Habilitation Supports Waiver (HSW) provides Medicaid home and community-based services that supplement Medicaid State Plan services for eligible individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities who meet applicable institutional level-of-care requirements. HSW does not guarantee services to every person with a disability.
CLS Within HSW
Community Living Supports (CLS) may be one component of services available to appropriate HSW participants. The combination of services available depends on the individual's authorized plan through the applicable CMH and supports coordination system.
